If you are looking for a delightful spot to visit in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, you have to check out the Cedar Hollow Farm in Pennsburg. This amazing place hosts a variety of interesting activities that the whole family can enjoy, in addition to having delicious produce, pies, eggs, honey, and fresh meats.

They are located at 2475 Quakertown Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073. If you are driving up from Philadelphia, it is about an hour and ten minute drive, and from Allentown, it will take you a little more then a half hour.

One of my absolute favorite time of the year is autumn. There is always a bit of magic in the air, and I love how the leaves on the trees burst with soft hues of crimson, orange, and brown color palates. The air gets a little more crisper, and with the longer evenings in Pennsylvania, you can smell the sweet aroma of firepits and woodstoves drifting through the wind almost anywhere you go. It is truly one of the best times to visit the Northeast.

Now with a small family in tow, my husband and I wanted to come up with a cute activity that we could all do to celebrate this time of year. We immediately thought of visiting a local farm in the region, so of course we had to check out the Cedar Hollow Farm. This would also be our first real travel adventure out with the baby, so we were pretty excited!

When we arrived, we were quite happy to see that there was ample parking available right next to the farm, and it was set up nicely to welcome visitors. We are also huge fans of friendly animals, and as soon as we got out of our vehicle, we happened to see some really adorable goats. You can tell that these goats are very well cared for, and they even have a nice area to play and frolic in.

Right by the goat area, you can find a large space with the sweet alpacas. We were impressed with how observant they were, and they even looked over as if to say hello to us. They do offer alpaca feedings for guests, but with a three month old we decided just to look for this visit. I could see older kids really enjoying that though, and it sounds cute! Also, in the autumn, this location has a corn maze to explore in addition to pumpkin picking, so they have a nice variety of activities that you could make a day trip out of.

The Cedar Hollow Farm is such a wonderful location to visit, and I highly recommend checking it out! This is one of those places where visitors of any age will enjoy, and is an awesome spot for families, or really anyone who wants to travel to a beautiful farm.
