If you are interested in visiting an upscale and elegant location that is whimsical and fun, you will have to check out the Yuletide Festival at the Union League Liberty Hill. They are located at 800 Ridge Pike in Layfette Hill, Pennsylvania 19444. If you are traveling from Philadelphia, it is a half hour drive north of the city.

(As of 2025, Yuletide At Liberty Hill is not open, but I will keep you all updated if any new information does come out!)

In addition to their over 30 high-end market stores, they also have an assortment of games for children to enjoy, ice skating, free rides, and visits with Santa as well! The area is decorated nicely with refined lights shimmering about the gorgeous property. There is an elevated feel to it (the Union League is very charming) and it is more activity driven/holiday village then light show atmosphere.

This Christmas season has felt different then any other in the past, because now, we are a family of three! (In June, we welcomed a new addition to the family, a baby girl!) The Philadelphia area has so many holiday themed events, and we wanted to check out something newer to the area, so it seemed logical to visit the highly anticipated Yuletide Festival.

We ended up going out to the event the first opening weekend, on a chilly late autumn day. You could tell that the buzz had traveled to many individuals, because there was a pretty decent size line of cars building up on Ridge Pike, right on the main road leading up to the Union League. Luckily, even though there was a line of vehicles to get into the place, a greeter was right by the road directing and organizing traffic.

I would highly recommend booking your ticket ahead of time, because that will make it faster to get in as well.  They will check for this after you turn onto the road of the property.

I have to say, it was very organized getting into the festival, and there were kind individuals directing cars safely throughout the parking process. The facility has a very large field which was organized into car lanes.

As we walked into the festival, the first thing that caught my eye was a beautiful Ferris wheel. When we meandered past this area, we noticed that there were games set up as well such as Skee-Ball, which children were enjoying. There is also an ice rink on the property if you are interested in that.

If you want to get Christmas photos with Santa, there is a cute area to do that. (To visit Santa it is free, and then the high-end prints and framing are an additional fee.) We did not get photos with him since we already went to a local mall, but there did seem to be a pretty long line for this, so it is quite popular!

After you pass through the game area, you will find a series of stairs on a small hill that goes directly into the holiday shops. My favorite was their ornament store, and they had a very nice selection of them.

If you are looking for a refined holiday experience, I would recommend checking out Yuletide at Liberty Hill. The golf course on which it is located is very nice, and did provide gorgeous landscape views as we explored.

Let me know in the comments if you have gone to the festival, and what you thought about it. I hope that you are having a wonderful day, and remember to click the like and subscribe button!

The more that we explore new places, the more important it is to wear safe hiking gear, and of course hiking boots. I really love my hiking boots because they feel super cozy, warm, flexible, and of course the most crucial element of all for safety is that they are non slip! When I have gone hiking for hours at a time, they are really comfortable, which is great when you are traveling on the road.
