Bethlehem Christmas Market

Christkindlemarkt in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is one of the most decked out Christmas markets to visit in the Lehigh Valley (and in the country)! You can find this magical place at 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18015. This year, in 2025, it will be running on the weekends starting from November 14th until December 22st. It is also open Thursdays this year December 4th through the 18th.

The Christmas market is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (if you go in later on Fridays, after 5 p.m. it is free admission), Thursdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here is a link to purchase tickets for the event before you go as well.

There is a very large parking lot connected to the village which is amazing when you are traveling to the area!

Every year, we always eagerly await the holidays. The changing of the seasons always invigorates me, and I know winter is close once the first days of December arrive. There is something magical about the change to crisp weather, and snow dusting the yard in the morning. Christmas is the perfect time to do something a little festive, and if you are in the Pennsylvania area, I would recommend you check out the award winning Christkindlmarkt.

There are a lot of local artisans and small businesses at the market, and it is always sweet to support our communities. Our personal favorite is the Stroopie Co. stand which sells authentic Dutch waffle cookies with homemade syrup inside of them. In addition to having a delicious product, their company supports refugees who are starting over in the community by providing employment opportunities to them which is so cool!

In addition to this, the market has a large area to buy various foods in a tented area too, so you could do a lunch or dinner here if you wanted to. A couple other places that caught my eye was a record shop with art work made of actual records, various detailed ornament stands, and of course collectables featured from the famous Käthe Wohlfahrt shop which has handmade items from Germany. Honestly though, there were so many creative items if you are looking to get unique gifts for your friends and family.

There are so many things to do there from trying delicious treats, shopping, and even taking in the gorgeous light displays. Let me know in the comments if you have visited the Christkindlmarkt as well, and what you thought of it. I hope you are having a wonderful day, and remember to click that subscribe button!

I highly recommend the book “Hiking Waterfalls In Pennsylvania.” It specifically maps out where you can find waterfalls in each area and region of the state. If you are an outdoor adventurer, you will want to check this out!

  1. Ahh, I do love a Christmas market Allie and this one looks great. Stroopwafels (as they call them in The Netherlands) were one of my favourite sweet bites when I lived an Amsterdam, did you grab a pack?

  2. Christmas markets always put me into the festive spirit as I find them enchanting. The Bethlehem market looks gorgeous from your photos and I wouldn’t mind sampling some of those yummy Dutch waffles too.
